Make up and Hair Workshop with Shalomi Makeup and Hair

In September 2019, we hosted our inaugural workshop! Shalomi Makeup and Hair led this event, generously sharing valuable insights and techniques encompassing all facets of hairstyling and makeup artistry. A special acknowledgment is owed to V&P Events for their pivotal role in orchestrating the day, ensuring flawless execution throughout. Palm Beach Restaurant provided us with the scrumptious Kothu Roti, complemented by the delectable Mutton Rolls, Cassava chips and Fish Cutlets courtesy of Veechu Restaurant. The Bowtie Brothers brought a contagious energy to the event and offered a tantalising array of popcorn and candy floss.

Baked by Kaya presented an array of exquisite dessert cups, while Cake Connection graced us with their stunning cupcakes. Ranya Sarees provided the elegant black saree donned by our model, Piriya. The blouse hailed from BKM Blouses, and Vrddhi provided us with exquisite jewellery. Misteek London meticulously styled the ensemble, while the event signage was masterfully crafted by MadebyDiwani. All other embellishments and decor were thoughtfully provided by Anyaaevents.

Our workshop attendees departed not only with newfound knowledge but also with goody bags brimming with treasures from AKN Jewellery, Serenity Home, Vrddhi, Modish, Tia Bhuva, Nila Haran, Jastina MUA, Baked by Kaya, and The Extension Bar. We were humbled to welcome over 40 participants, some of whom subsequently embarked on their own MUA ventures. In support of our projects, we successfully raised £2,176.61.
