Bicycle Project

The bicycle project was first put forward after a member of Child First (UK) had visited Sri Lanka and identified that the children residing in the Vanni area had a need for local transport. Initially, the children had difficulties travelling the long distance to school by using public transport as it was often overcrowded and fairly unreliable.
