Child First UK Winter Ball 2023 - 18th November 2023

Following the success of our 2019 Winter Ball, Child First (UK) is excited to present our Winter Ball 2023!

Join us on Saturday, 18 November 2023 for another night of food, entertainment and dancing! We are once again hosting the event at the Decorium, London, N22 6UH between 6 pm and midnight. The event will be a black tie event, so dress up in your best formal wear! Of course, traditional wear is more than welcome.  The following is included in the price of one ticket:

• A free drink upon arrival
• A three course, sit down meal in a beautiful setting
• Various performances from up and coming Tamil artists
• Dance floor

As always, all profits will go towards Child First (UK), a small, non-political Tamil charity (registered charity number: 1132597) that works to educate children in the North and East of Sri Lanka. Since its establishment in 2009, Child First (UK) has achieved a great deal, including the set up of: pre-schools in Malligaitivu and Tharmapuram; a nursery in Killinochchi; the Student Support Programme, which now funds the studies of hundreds of children; and many more.  In 2015, Child First opened a Skills Development Centre, where students could learn soft skills, IT, English, dance and music so that they could boost their careers. We are currently raising funds to maintain this centre and install solar panels to help with the cost of energy bills. We hope that this will also help do our bit to alleviate the global environmental crisis.
